Eels in concert

Went to the Eels concert last evening here in Copenhagen, and it was probably the best concert I ever been to. Amazing. I am still floating.
The setup was very different from the last time I saw them, this time they had four girls on cello and violin, and no drums(!). So they only played the slow songs, and it was so cool, when you got used to it. And E was as cool as ever. I am planing to sell all my gear and join the band as a roadier :)

R.E.M - beating it all

I must admit that the concert yesterday was great. Even lousy acustic couldt ruin the band and the concert ruled, as R.E.M. concert always does (been to two so far, so, I know :o)

R.E.M. and less snow coming up

Its tomorrow R.E.M. is playing in Forum and today was spend making homework, algorithms and taking care of a poor, sick girlfriend. So not much excitment, but it will be there tomorrow.
I am looking forward to the concert. But dread the musichall Forum. Even though Rammstein was cool, the sound and crowd last time was really horrible.

The snow is still making Denmark silent and cold. When I look out of the window, its beautiful and it looks like the cartoon we see every x-mas. But whenever I have to go out, ten minutes after I get out, its cold as hell. My nose wants to fall of and run for cover and I have to walk crouched like I was 79 years old.
The snow will hopefully dissapear tomorrow. I have never been a snow person and never will be.

the roots

Monday, I went to a hip-hop koncert with a good friend. It was really groovy, and a great koncert in vega. Everybody was so cool at this concert and really well dressed, but there was a complete lack of baggy pants. Is the trend going downwards, or is the Roots not a "real" hiphop band?

Rammstein!

Yearh I was at a Rammstein concert this evening and it was pretty cool. Unfortunatly the crowd was filled with hillbillies, looking all nazi and shit. It suck, especially if you actually try to read some of the lyrics. Its a bit like american believing that Born in the USA is a salute to USA...nope...guys...you should learn to read..

R.E.M.

I have finally had time to listen to R.E.M.s new cd "Around the sun" and all the bad reviews are in my opinion misplaced. Yearh its not their greatest album ever, but its good, really good and I get a good feeling in my stomach in my stomach listening to it. A special  feeling, which R.E.M. is the best band to provide. Ive also listen a bit to Brian Wilsons "Smile" but I have lost it (read: misplaced it on my desk, which is a mess) so my opinion sofar is just that its weird. But maybe it will all come to me later :)
